Job Summary

The Location Construction Head will be responsible for the execution of multistorey group housing projects ranging from 5 to 50 acres. This role emphasizes thorough planning, estimation, scheduling, team selection, quality, and cost control, ensuring on-time delivery of projects while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute multistorey group housing projects, ensuring effective planning, estimation, scheduling, team selection, and cost control for timely delivery.
• Analyze and approve estimates, labor rates, and item rates while monitoring overall construction costs.
• Develop and implement construction methods, checklists, and conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to guidelines and safety standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, services, and architectural teams to create cost-effective designs that are easy to execute and maintain.
• Recruit, coach, and mentor a team of project management engineers, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Conduct audits of project compliance with relevant Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Codes, National Building Code (NBC) guidelines, building byelaws, environmental, and labor laws.
• Optimize manpower, materials, and machinery on site to ensure timely delivery and monitor daily and monthly reports, complemented by periodic site visits.
• Utilize ERP software, AutoCAD, MS Projects, and MS Excel for project management and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (full time/regular from a recognized engineering college or equivalent).
• 18-25 years of experience in construction and project management roles.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of site execution experience across multiple locations (mandatory).
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for hiring, coaching, and building effective teams.
• Ability to measure success through customer satisfaction and consistently achieving performance metrics.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
• A strong belief in excellence and the ability to take prompt action.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in ERP software, AutoCAD, MS Projects, and MS Excel is essential.
