General Management - Strategy Intern

Job Summary

As a General Management - Strategy Intern, you will play a critical role in expanding the reach and effectiveness of flagship programs, ranging from sustainability education for students to capacity building for educators. This position directly supports the execution of key initiatives, enabling you to create measurable impact in the climate education space while working closely with the Founder and core team. The role provides exposure to strategic management, stakeholder engagement, and program development, with the potential to advance into a Chief of Staff position based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support outreach to prospective schools and institutions for programs such as the Sustainability Leadership Program, Green Educator Program, and student mentorship initiatives.
  • Coordinate and track the implementation and progress of ongoing education programs.
  • Conduct research and develop profiles of prospective partners, clients, and collaborators within the education and sustainability sectors.
  • Identify and monitor relevant platforms and opportunities for increased visibility, partnerships, and program expansion.
  • Maintain organized documentation of outreach efforts, stakeholder engagement, and internal project milestones.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in sustainability education and climate action.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with schools, educators, and potential partners.
  • Strong organizational skills to track program progress and maintain clear documentation.
  • Proficiency in research to build profiles of clients, partners, and platforms in the education sector.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
  • Undergraduate degree (preferably in education, environment, social sciences, or a related discipline).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience or proficiency in market analysis and market research techniques.
  • Knowledge of database development and management.
  • Familiarity with lead generation techniques.
  • Previous experience in general management or a related field is a plus but not required.

Experience

  • Minimum Experience: 0 years (Entry-level; freshers are encouraged to apply).
  • Experience in outreach, program coordination, or research within the education or sustainability sectors is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Work Setting: Remote (adaptable to hybrid arrangements as required).

Salary

  • Salary Range: ₹5,000 – ₹20,000 (INR) per month.
