Job Description

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS We are months from our brand launch. The person in this role will help express the brand — its voice, its visual identity in the world - to an audience that doesn't yet know we exist. It is a role for someone who has strong instincts, a founder's relationship with the work, and the discipline to build things properly while moving fast.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Brand — Own and develop the brand — its voice, visual language and positioning across every touchpoint — Ensure complete consistency between what the brand promises and what the institute and app deliver — Manage certain sensitive partnerships — creatively, strategically and with discretion

Launch — Lead the brand launch— the moment we enter public conversation — Build and execute the physical centre launch, including press, community and opening programming — Create the content and campaign strategy that establishes our brand as the authority in postnatal care in India

Growth & Community — Build the founding member community — the first group of mothers who will define the experience — Own digital, social and content — either directly or by building and managing a small team — Develop the D2C growth strategy for the product line in partnership with the Head of Product Line

Team & Partners — Manage the brand agency relationship and any external creative partners — Build and lead the internal marketing team as the organisation grows — Content Lead, PR Manager, Community Manager — Work closely with the clinical and product teams to ensure all communication is accurate, evidence-backed and on brand

 

Experience & background You will likely have — though we care more about what you have done than where you have been. — 8–14 years of marketing experience, with at least part of that in a senior or founding role — A track record of building or significantly shaping a consumer brand — ideally premium, D2C, wellness, lifestyle or women's health — Experience managing high-profile talent partnerships with discretion and creative intelligence — Strong content and storytelling instincts — you understand what makes something worth reading, sharing and trusting — Experience working in or alongside early-stage ventures — you know what 0-to-1 actually feels like

It would be useful if you also have — — Familiarity with the Indian premium consumer market and the mothers and families within it — Experience in health, F emtech or postnatal / maternal wellness content and communication — A network in India's media, PR or creative community
