Job Summary

The Backend Developer 2 plays a crucial role in developing robust and scalable server-side applications that enhance user experience and functionality. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs that are efficient, secure, and scalable.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications and systems to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to foster innovation within the team.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier college in India.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in backend development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot and Express.js.
  • Knowledge of messaging queues such as RabbitMQ and caching solutions like Redis.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a backend development role, preferably in a startup environment.
