Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, DevOps practices, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building automation solutions, maintaining secure environments, and ensuring high availability of applications deployed on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, EKS/ECS).
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/CloudFormation for scalable and repeatable provisioning.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate deployment, scaling, monitoring, and configuration management for cloud-based systems.
• Monitor system performance and implement proactive security and compliance measures.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and optimize cost, performance, and availability.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to integrate cloud and DevOps solutions into application delivery.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus/Grafana.
• Contribute to disaster recovery (DR) planning, backup, and failover strategies.
• Document infrastructure designs, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in cloud engineering or related fields.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture.
• Proficiency in Terraform for managing Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Relevant certifications in AWS or DevOps practices are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with security compliance standards in cloud environments.
