NetSuite Technical Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented NetSuite Technical Consultant to join our NetSuite practice. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in NetSuite development and customization, with hands-on expertise in SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder. You will play a key role in delivering technical solutions that meet complex business requirements by collaborating with functional consultants and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.0), SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST), and SuiteFlow.
• Design and implement workflows, custom records, scripts, dashboards, KPIs, and saved searches.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Execute data migrations and integrations using RESTlets, web services, and third-party tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to NetSuite customizations and integrations.
• Support NetSuite version upgrades and ensure script compatibility.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle: analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and follow established change control procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in NetSuite technical development.
• Proficient in SuiteScript 2.0, JavaScript, SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteTalk.
• Basic understanding of core Java; Apache Camel knowledge is a plus.
• Experience developing custom code using SuiteCloud Development Environment (SDF).
• Integration experience with third-party tools like Dell Boomi, Celigo, etc.
• Proficiency in NetSuite sandbox and deployment processes.
• Strong problem-solving and code debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create detailed technical documentation, including workflows, exception handling, and test cases.

Preferred Skills

• NetSuite Certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of SuiteBundler, SuiteAnalytics, and Advanced PDF/HTML templates.

Experience

• A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in NetSuite technical development is required.

Environment

• This position can be located remotely or in a hybrid setting. The work schedule is flexible with on-call support on a rotational basis.
