REGIONAL HEAD – RETAIL SALES JOB INTENT To deepen the market share in the region among the retail distribution and is responsible for overseeing sales and nurturing relationships with Retail Clients & Distributors, lead the team & built capability & lead by example. Ability to strategize business, ability to forecast revenues and costs, and assess business performance, ability to look well ahead and consider future opportunities and anticipate the problems. Requires marketing experience, presentation skills, analytical thinking, commercial awareness, sensitivity to cultural differences, and sales skills & most important lateral thinking in problem solving. This position reports to Zonal Head. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • He / she will be responsible for the Retail AAUM/AUM targets & profitability for their region and increasing the Market share. • He / she will be required to formulate and devise strategies for his / her Region and Action plans to maximize sales by creating a responsible Sales team. • Responsible to achieve the targets as set by his / her reporting Manager which may change from time to time and would be communicated as decided by the Management. • To follow up and manage Retail Sales team of all units of the region to ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition. • He / she is required to collate the market information such as competitor activities & initiatives and analyze the same with the help of Sales teams to pre-empt its impact on the business. • He / she must specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers. • Responsible for ensuring all team members are fully equipped with relevant functional and behavioral competencies about product /market positioning/compliance guidelines/ market dynamics and build a skill repository to cascade the information down across all levels. • Lead the top management meeting of Key customers to ensure strong relationship and remove business obstacles, aligning with long term company direction. • Build effectiveness of Customer servicing quality across the Region and set internal benchmarks. 1 JOB ANALYSIS : LIC MUTUAL FUND ASSET MANAGEMENT LTD • Ensuring all Compliance standards are met with while selling the product or reporting the product sale. Job Specifications • Relevant MF Retail Sales experience of 12 -15 years • Preferably MBA from a reputed Institute (not Mandatory) • Current good Networking with IFAS of the area • Self-managed, highly driven by relationship management and revenue generation. • Excellent understanding of company products, company processes, regulatory requirements and business risk • Deep industry and Product knowledge. • Good influencing skills • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills • Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
