Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Leader to drive the development and scaling of distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare technology and experience in leading teams through complex projects, ensuring systems remain efficient and scalable as they grow.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and scaling of backend, mobile, or full-stack distributed systems.
• Oversee microservice migrations and make informed API design decisions.
• Ensure system performance and reliability as user demands increase.
• Collaborate on healthcare technology projects, particularly with PMS/EHR integrations and clinical workflows.
• Drive innovation in developing regulated digital health platforms.
• Act as a mentor and leader for engineering teams across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years in engineering, with a focus on building and scaling distributed systems.
• Healthcare Tech: Proven experience in healthcare technology, specifically in PMS/EHR integrations, FHIR, and digital health platforms.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with microservice architectures, API design, and performance optimization techniques.
• Leadership: Prior experience in a senior engineering leadership role (e.g., VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, CTO).
• AI Knowledge: Practical experience with machine learning (ML), large language models (LLMs), or intelligent agents in problem-solving.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with wearable technology or connected health systems.
• Familiarity with mobile device synchronization technologies (e.g., Bluetooth, HealthKit).
• Background in developing cloud infrastructure for sensor data is a plus.
