Job Summary
The Data Architect/Solution Architect will develop and maintain scalable architecture, design data warehouses, and create data pipelines to accommodate increases in data volume and complexity. This role will assist in designing end-to-end data and analytics solutions within Azure and drive the design and implementation of Azure Data environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data architecture and data warehouse design.
- Build data pipelines and integrate new data sources to support growing data complexities.
- Assist in designing end-to-end data and analytics solution architecture and perform Proof of Concepts (POCs) within Azure.
- Drive design, sizing, estimation, and POC activities for Azure Data environments and related services.
- Review solution requirements to support architecture design, ensuring efficient resource use and multi-system integration.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and code reviews to enforce design-level technical best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10 to 15 years in relevant architectures.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Data Bricks and Data Factory.
- Strong ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) skills.
- Experience as an Architect or in a similar role.
- Education: Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Azure Data services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
Experience
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience as a Data Architect or Solution Architect.
Environment
- Location: Any BSL location.
- Work mode: Hybrid (combination of remote and on-site).
