Job Title: Deputy Manager – D2C Location: Mumbai (On-site) Reporting To: Director About the Role We are looking for a strategic and execution-driven professional to join our team as Deputy Manager – Direct-to-Consumer (D2C). This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for scaling our D2C business through data-driven growth strategies, team leadership, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen with deep digital expertise to own the D2C P&L, drive website sales, and deliver a seamless consumer experience across all touchpoints—from acquisition to retention. Key Responsibilities 1. D2C Strategy & Performance ● Own and manage the P&L for the D2C channel with defined sales growth targets. ● Develop and execute both short-term and long-term D2C growth roadmaps. ● Analyze digital funnels, conversion rates, and customer journeys to optimize performance. 2. Website & Conversion Management ● Oversee end-to-end website operations, including UI/UX, SEO, CRO, and technical enhancements. ● Work closely with design and tech teams to ensure a fast, intuitive, and conversion-optimized site. ● Implement A/B testing to improve conversion rate and average order value (AOV). 3. Marketing & Growth Execution ● Lead performance marketing across paid, organic, influencer, and affiliate channels. ● Define and execute customer retention and loyalty strategies to enhance LTV. ● Collaborate with marketing and content teams to drive traffic, engagement, and storytelling initiatives. 4. Team & Cross-functional Leadership ● Build, mentor, and lead a cross-functional team across marketing, operations, and customer experience. ● Collaborate with merchandising, logistics, and support teams to ensure seamless D2C operations. 5. Data & Analytics ● Track and analyze key metrics such as traffic, conversion, CAC, AOV, and ROAS. ● Leverage analytics tools and dashboards to extract insights and guide growth strategies. 6. Market & Competitor Intelligence ● Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging innovations in D2C. ● Collaborate with product and design teams to convert insights into new offerings and improvements. Desired Profile ● Postgraduate with 3+ years of experience in D2C, e-commerce, or digital sales. ● Proven track record in scaling D2C revenue, preferably in consumer/lifestyle brands. ● Strong knowledge of Shopify, digital marketing, analytics, and tech integrations. ● Experienced in leading cross-functional digital teams. ● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. ● High ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
