Job Summary

The MIS Manager is responsible for examining company records to ensure that accurate and complete financial statements are presented to management. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, timely filing of returns, and managing financial audits in accordance with applicable laws, accounting standards, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Closing of monthly financials, including Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and Cashflow reports.
• Preparation of budgets and annual operation plans.
• Conducting analysis of expense trends and variances (actual vs budget, or vs last year).
• Performing ageing analysis of business partners, including vendors and customers.
• Scrutinizing general ledgers of expense, income, assets, and liabilities.
• Managing fixed assets and working capital.
• Coordinating with auditors for statutory, internal, and stock audits.
• Handling statutory compliances, including TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), TCS (Tax Collected at Source), and GST (Goods and Services Tax).
• Managing audits and assessments, including Show Cause Notices (SCNs) initiated by regulatory authorities.

Qualifications

• Educational Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Management Accountant (CMA), Company Secretary (CS), or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Intermediate Chartered Accountant (Inter CA) demonstrating relevant knowledge and experience.
• Key Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of basic principles of accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good analytical and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and initiative to drive efficiency.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with the latest accounting software and tools.
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.

Experience

• Prior experience in financial management or accounting roles is preferred.

Environment

• The position is based in the Head Office located in Khar West, Mumbai.
• Work mode includes hours from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday with the second and fourth Saturdays off.
