Job Description

The Role

We’re looking for a video editor who understands both brand and performance.

This role is not just about cutting clips together. It’s about understanding:

● Why someone stops scrolling

● Why someone watches till the end

● Why someone clicks

● And why someone trusts a brand

A lot of our content is founder-led, education-led, or product-led. It needs to feel sharp,

intelligent, and premium, not loud or gimmicky.

You should be comfortable editing for performance marketing, but also care about how the

brand feels.

What You’ll Work On

● Paid ads for Meta and other performance channels

● Founder-led educational content

● Product and food-led videos

● Social media reels and short-form content

● Campaign launches

You’ll be expected to:

● Create strong openings

● Tighten pacing

● Suggest better cuts

● Improve scripts through editing

● Make multiple variations for testing

We move fast, and we test a lot.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

● 2–5 years of video editing experience

● Experience working with a D2C brand (important)

● Experience editing paid ads, not just organic content

● Food, lifestyle, or consumer brand experience is a plus

Skills

● Strong command over Premiere Pro / Final Cut

● Comfortable with basic motion graphics (After Effects or similar)

● Good understanding of subtitles, pacing, and video typography

● Able to work across 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 formats confidently

Mindset

● You care about the craft

● You’re open to feedback

● You’re comfortable iterating based on performance

● You understand that good editing is invisible - it just works
