Job Summary
The Quality Head (Printing Department) will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes across all manufacturing plants in India. This role is crucial in maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring compliance with established quality procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor quality and create quality assurance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all manufacturing plants.
- Lead and manage the quality assurance teams to maintain quality standards in production.
- Ensure compliance with quality guidelines and standards in flexo printing and flexible packaging.
- Conduct travel to other manufacturing plants or customer sites as necessary for quality assessments.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Food Technology, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in quality assurance, particularly in the printing and packaging industries.
- Mandatory experience in flexo printing and flexible packaging, including flexible labels.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and regulations.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience
- At least 10-12 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on manufacturing and specifically in the printing sector.
Environment
The position will be based across various manufacturing sites, including locations in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. This role may require travel to other plants or customer sites as needed.
Salary
The budget for this position is ₹20 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum).
