Company Overview
Centralized Finance functions that provide day-to-day operational support to the business teams and employees. These functions include but are not limited to Order-To-Cash (housing Invoicing Start Up, Order Management, Billing & Invoicing, Collections and Cash Applications), Record-To-Report (Journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis), and Payroll (processing, reporting, tax, and compliance). The teams create value by delivering best-in-class services to enable the company to make timely operating and strategic decisions as well as ongoing evaluation of operating policies, processes, and procedures seeking enhancements to optimize both the internal/external client experience.
Job Summary
The Senior Analyst 1 will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and reports. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and participation in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, contributing to the overall financial health and strategic direction of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and reports.
- Work with the team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Participate in process optimization and cost-saving projects.
- Support senior finance staff and initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation of financial strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data collection.
- Prepare financial data for reporting.
- Contribute to financial system enhancements and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role in finance or related roles.
- Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and operational oversight.
- Proficiencies in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- A continuous learner who stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced degree in Finance or a relevant field is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are a plus.
Experience
- Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role in finance or related roles.
