Job Summary

The Automation QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of software products through automated testing. The engineer will design, develop, and execute automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of applications, contributing significantly to the overall success and quality assurance objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Conduct API testing utilizing Rest Assured, ensuring integration and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and convert them into test cases.
• Execute tests, track defects, and report issues while ensuring timely resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of automated testing practices.

Qualifications

• Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Java with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience.
  • Extensive experience with Selenium for automated testing.
  • Strong knowledge of API Testing using Rest Assured.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Experience with other test automation tools or frameworks.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.

Experience

• Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
