Job Summary

The Technical Lead will oversee the technical direction and management of our front-end stack within an eCommerce environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, proven architectural expertise, and the ability to collaborate with both offshore and onsite teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that align with business needs and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical direction of the front-end technology stack ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with offshore and onsite teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Optimize web performance across devices and browsers, enhancing load times and user interactions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to developers to foster their technical growth.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end tools for development.
• Implement conversion optimization strategies, A/B testing, and leverage analytics tools for eCommerce websites.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in IT, with a minimum of 8 years in leadership roles.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, and JavaScript.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling frontend solutions in an eCommerce environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and technologies such as Shopify.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with analytics tools specific to eCommerce platforms.
• Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, specifically in front-end development.
• Strong leadership experience with a focus on eCommerce solutions.

Environment

This is a remote position, allowing candidates to work from any location.

Salary

Rate card is set at 1.2 LPM (Lakhs Per Month).
