Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager for the East region will lead large and medium businesses while working strategically with key customers, handset resellers, and channel partners. The primary focus is on driving the attachment of protection plans on new devices as well as existing devices used by employees and companies. The role also entails understanding the handset and consumer durable market to develop business plans that maximize sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Handling handset and consumer durable channel network of sellers/resellers, including:
- Partner Selection and Appointment
- Daily channel operations management
- Manage and facilitate collections from channel partners according to company policy
- Engage directly with key retailers to secure business and manage key account relationships effectively
- Achieve targets for value and volume across product mix
- Build and manage a high-performance team, driving performance through team leadership
- Coordinate with various departments such as Operations, IT, Marketing, and Finance to ensure seamless customer onboarding, activation, and experience
- Provide regular and timely feedback from customers and business partners
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12-15 years experience in managing channel sales and large handset/consumer durable accounts
- Proven experience working with key stakeholders of large/medium handset dealers
- Previous experience in a Mobile Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) environment, specifically selling smartphones/tablets
- Expertise in Mobile OEM segment sales through channels and business partners
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, alongside negotiation abilities
- Educational Qualifications:
- MBA or a graduate degree with a strong academic background
