Job Description
This role will include identifying growth opportunities, maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, conducting market analysis, preparing proposals, and negotiating deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and clients within banks and NBFCs.
- Business Growth & Strategy:
Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Market Analysis:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, new business opportunities, and competitive activities within the banking and financial services sector.
- Partnership Development:
Source, evaluate, and onboard new lending partners for co-lending and other strategic financial opportunities.
- Deal Origination & Negotiation:
Prepare and present compelling proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals with partner banks and NBFCs.
- Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, such as product development and marketing, to support financial product promotion and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Reporting:
Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing forecasts and insights to leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of the NBFC and BFSI sectors.
- Networking: Excellent networking skills and a strong existing network of contacts within the Banking and NBFC sectors – Must have
- Communication: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical Skills: A strong analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to understand market challenges and client needs.
- Technical/Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of banking and financial services products, services, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
