Contineu is building the default data infrastructure layer for the global construction industry. Our AI-native platform converts 360° site visuals—captured via helmet-mounted and magnet-mounted cameras—into real-time intelligence for quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), progress monitoring, and compliance. We deliver better outcomes than traditional project management consultancy (PMC) firms at roughly one-fifth the cost. Job Summary

We are hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to build the top of our pipeline. You will be the first point of contact with some of the largest builders, developers, and architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) consultants in the country. Your role is to find the right people, initiate genuine conversations, and book qualified meetings for our Account Executives (AEs) and founders. This position is characterized by high autonomy, significant outbound engagement, and heavy travel.

Responsibilities

  • Own outbound prospecting into general contractors (GCs), real estate developers, and AEC consultants (Tier-1 builders, top developers, leading design, and PMC firms).
  • Build targeted account lists using customer relationship management (CRM) tools, LinkedIn, industry databases, and your own network.
  • Execute multi-channel outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and in-person drop-ins at project sites.
  • Represent Contineu at trade shows and industry forums such as ACETECH, CREDAI events, BAUMA CONEXPO India, and other real estate and construction expos.
  • Qualify inbound leads and hand off clean, well-documented opportunities to AEs and founders.
  • Collaborate with marketing on account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives and event-led campaigns.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene by logging every interaction and ensuring every stage is accurately documented.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), or inside sales roles selling construction technology, property technology (proptech), or AEC software.
  • A proven track record of establishing relationships with GCs, developers, or AEC consultants; enterprise software as a service (SaaS) experience is strongly preferred.
  • Existing warm connections in the construction/AEC industry that can be activated immediately, along with the fluency to build new relationships quickly (e.g., project heads, planning leads, QA/QC managers, procurement teams).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—comfortable engaging with site engineers and C-suite executives alike.
  • Willingness to travel 40–60% of the time.
  • Educational qualifications ideally include a background in civil engineering, construction management, or architecture.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to platforms such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Fieldwire, or similar.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) fluency, preferably with HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Understanding of QA/QC processes, site monitoring, snagging, or project control workflows.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in roles focused on sales development or business development in the construction tech industry.

Environment

  • This position is remote-based in India with significant travel for site visits and industry events.
