Java Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Java Developers to join our team on a contractual basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality software solutions within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and services.
• Collaborate with team members to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Java applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Proficiency in Java SE and Java EE.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Angular.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Database management experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development or similar roles.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, deploying, and supporting Java applications.

Environment

• Location: Gurugram (onsite or hybrid as per project requirements).
• Contractual position with a start date within 15 days.
• Dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced work environment.
• May require occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
