Java Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Java Developer with extensive experience in developing scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining REST APIs and microservices to support business applications in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed to ensure high availability and performance.
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring Boot.
• Proficient in building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with version control systems, ideally Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Java application development.

Environment

• Typically, a collaborative office setting located in Bangalore.
