Manager / Senior Manager– Costing & Pricing<br /> Department<br /> Finance<br /> Reporting To<br /> Head – Business Finance<br /> Location<br /> Thane<br /> Years of Experience<br /> 8+<br /> Job Responsibilities / Deliverables<br /> •<br /> Product Costing: Develop and maintain product costing models. Ensure accurate valuation of RM/PM, WIP, and finished goods.<br /> •<br /> Pricing Strategy: Support business teams in intercompany transfer price, pricing of products for domestic & export markets, tenders, and new launches; evaluate forex, duties, and logistics impact on pricing.<br /> •<br /> Profitability Analysis: Conduct margin and contribution analysis at product, market, and customer level. Provide insights for decision-making and margin improvement.<br /> •<br /> Business Partnering: Work with R&D, Manufacturing, SCM, and Regulatory to estimate costs for new product development and commercialization.<br /> •<br /> Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in cost budgets, variance analysis, and forecast updates; support long-range planning for cost efficiency.<br /> •<br /> MIS & Reporting: Prepare dashboards and reports for costing and pricing; enhance automation for faster, accurate insights.<br /> •<br /> Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, and support business case evaluations.<br /> Qualifications & Pre-Requisites<br /> •<br /> Cost Accountant (CMA)<br /> •<br /> Strong knowledge of product costing, transfer pricing, and pharma pricing frameworks<br /> •<br /> Proficiency in SAP, advanced Excel & financial modeling<br /> •<br /> Analytical and detail-oriented with ability to provide actionable insights<br /> •<br /> Good communication and stakeholder management skills<br /> •<br /> Prior experience in Pharma or Manufacturing is mandatory<br /> Additional notes<br /> •<br /> May involve travelling to plant (Ambernath, Satara & Indore)<br /> •<br /> Exposure to global business
