Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing Developer

Job Summary

The Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse and business intelligence solutions to support organizational decision-making. The role involves working with large datasets, transforming data, developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and creating insightful reports. The ideal candidate will help ensure data integrity, optimize data workflows, and contribute to strategic business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions.
• Develop, optimize, and manage ETL processes and data integration workflows.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards using appropriate BI tools.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all data warehousing and BI solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and document data warehouse processes and BI solutions.
• Support ad hoc data analysis requests and provide actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Proficiency in ETL tools (such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar).
• Experience with business intelligence/reporting tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy).
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data integration techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python or Shell scripting) for data processing automation.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of large datasets.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Relevant certifications in data warehousing or BI platforms.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹9,00,000 – ₹20,00,000 per annum.
