Who We’re Looking For:
A curious, hungry and multifaceted Marketplace expert who wants to grow with our small but sharp team. We are looking for you to optimize, develop and implement our online marketplaces as a channel.
 
You’ll be taking the lead, so we’d love if you have the following skills:
● 3 - 4 years of experience handling brand listings on marketplaces
● Experience handling Qcom channels (Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto), Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart experience preferred
● Excellent analytical and presentation skills
● Strong verbal and written communication skills What You’ll Do In typical startup fashion, you’ll be wearing many different hats and learning a lot along the way.
 
Here are some things that we’d want you to help lead and execute:
 
Marketplace Strategy & Growth:
● Own the full marketplace strategy across all platforms, focusing on both major revenue drivers: (Qcom platforms) and other marketplaces (Amazon, Nykaa, etc.)
● Develop and implement strategies to drive acquisition, retention, and overall growth and market share across platforms.
● Lead the expansion into new marketplaces, identifying new opportunities to scale the business.
 
Product & Pricing Strategy:
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and optimize product positioning, ensuring market-fit for each marketplace.
● Work closely with internal teams to ensure correct product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies tailored to each marketplace.
● Oversee pricing strategy, including competitive analysis and ensuring profitability across all platforms.
 
Financial Planning & Analysis:
● Collaborate with the co-founders to refine cost-saving strategies.
● Take ownership of the P&L for all marketplace channels, ensuring profitability while driving growth.
● Develop and manage budgets for marketplace marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
 
Marketing & Promotions:
● Lead the creation and execution of go-to-market strategies for marketplace launches, seasonal campaigns, and product promotions.
● Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive visibility and sales across all marketplace platforms.
● Work with external partners and teams to negotiate visibility and advertising placements across platforms.
 
Team Leadership & Development:
● Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketplace team, ensuring alignment with MyMuse’s growth objectives.
● Enable team members to execute on day-to-day operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
● Manage team performance, providing regular feedback and development opportunities.
 
Partnership & Stakeholder Management:
● Be the primary point of contact for external marketplace teams, managing daily operations and maintaining strong relationships.
● Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, operations, etc.) to ensure seamless operations and a unified approach to marketplace growth.
● Lead negotiations with marketplace partners for better terms, visibility, and promotional opportunities.
 
Analytics & Reporting:
● Utilize data and analytics to track marketplace performance and sales trends, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
● Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
● Continuously optimize product listings, content, and campaigns based on performance analysis and market trends.
 
Market & Competitor Analysis:
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and marketplace-specific insights.
● Conduct regular competitor analyses and share findings with the team to inform strategic decisions.
