Job Summary
The Chief of Staff will play a crucial role in supporting the founder and managing non-product, non-commercial, and non-technical tasks. This position is essential for ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the organisation, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate accounting and payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Conduct recruitment outreach to attract top talent and assist with the hiring process.
- Manage customer communications to maintain strong relationships and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Oversee email management to ensure efficient communication and prioritization of messages.
- Schedule meetings across different time zones to facilitate collaboration and decision-making.
- Handle HR-related responsibilities to support employee engagement and organizational culture.
- Arrange travel logistics to ensure smooth and cost-effective travel for the founder and other team members.
Qualifications
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in US time zones (6 PM - 2 AM IST initially).
- Understanding of the startup ecosystem and its dynamics.
- Proven trust and discretion with sensitive information.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a founder’s office or operations role.
- Previous experience in a startup environment with 50-120 employees is preferred.
- Ability to provide strategic input rather than just following instructions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in administrative support and operational management.
- Familiarity with accounting practices and payroll systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools and communication platforms.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role is required.
Salary
- Estimated salary range: ₹1,100,000 - ₹1,600,000 per annum.
