ServiceNow Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer with at least 4 years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and a minimum of 3.5 years in relevant roles. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing, scripting, and integrating custom applications within the ServiceNow platform. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our IT service delivery and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure applications and modules within the ServiceNow platform to meet specific business needs.
• Implement ITSM processes including incident, problem, change, and request management.
• Write and maintain scripts for automation, integration, and application customization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of ServiceNow applications to ensure quality delivery.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and documentation.

Qualifications

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in ITSM processes and ServiceNow functionalities.
  • Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, HTML, XML, etc.).
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow custom applications development.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in ServiceNow (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer) would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Experience

Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, with 3.5+ years of direct experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

Environment

This role is open to candidates from various locations across India, including Pune, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kochi, and Mumbai.
