Job Summary

The SM- Design-RO NCR 2 role is pivotal in overseeing the design and development of projects from conceptualization to execution. This position requires a strong understanding of redevelopment regulations and effective collaboration with various teams to ensure project success and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Project Conceptualization:

  • Possess sound knowledge of Redevelopment By-laws and Development Control Regulations (DCR).
  • Analyze and calculate areas for future projects, drafting design proposals for client presentations.
  • Translate design ideas into comprehensive briefs for design consultants and architects.

• Appointment of Consultants:

  • Appoint consultants based on thorough analysis of proposals.
  • Brief consultants on project requirements, expectations, and timelines.

• Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate effectively with teams such as liaison, projects, and sales.
  • Ensure consistency in product specifications across General Floor Area (GFA), General Floor Construction (GFC), and sales brochures to maintain alignment between concept, product, and sales pitch.
  • Acquire necessary approvals for design and resources for project construction.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions regarding design as needed.
  • Address and resolve queries during the construction process.

• Process Adherence:

  • Comply with company-defined guidelines and processes.
  • Adhere to project timelines.

• Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvement within the work area.
  • Recommend and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and boost productivity.

• Learning and Development:

  • Identify development needs for self and team.
  • Pursue development opportunities through training, education, and project involvement.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of redevelopment by-laws and DCR regulations.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project design and coordination within the construction or real estate industry.

Environment

• This position is based in Noida and requires full-time, in-office work. The role may involve collaboration with various teams and stakeholders in a dynamic work environment.
