Job Description
Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Analysis and Reporting: o Analyse and interpret financial data to provide insights into the profitability and operational efficiency of retail stores. o Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual EBITDA statements. o Monitor key financial metrics and provide recommendations to improve performance. 2. Budgeting and Forecasting: o Develop, implement, and manage budgets for retail stores. o Forecast financial performance and provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts. o Identify trends and areas for cost savings and revenue enhancement. 3. Operational Efficiency: o Work closely with store managers to optimise operational processes and reduce costs. o Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency. o Monitor inventory levels and procurement practices to ensure cost-effectiveness. 4. Cost Control and Management: o Identify and implement cost control measures across retail operations. o Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. 5. Team Leadership and Development: o Provide training and development opportunities to enhance financial acumen and operational understanding. o Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. 6. Compliance and Risk Management: o Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements. o Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
