Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Portfolio Head - Client Partner to lead our vertical operations with a strong focus on Profit and Loss (P&L) management, business operations, delivery, and account management. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive experience in managing large-scale operations, driving strategic initiatives, expanding client portfolios, and ensuring seamless execution across diverse verticals. This leader will play a crucial role in shaping business strategy, expanding the client base, and optimizing delivery processes while fostering robust relationships at the executive level.
Responsibilities
- Leadership in P&L Management: Take full accountability for the profit and loss of the vertical, ensuring financial performance aligns with organizational goals. Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic resource allocation, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Strategic Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain C-suite relationships with key clients while understanding their strategic objectives and tailoring solutions to meet their business needs. Engage regularly with clients to provide executive-level updates, resolve escalations, and ensure long-term partnership growth.
- Executive-Level Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of strategic plans across multiple accounts and geographies, identifying growth opportunities that align with overall company objectives.
- Executive Liaison (SPOC): Serve as the senior point of contact between the organization and major clients, ensuring seamless communication and fostering trust at the highest levels.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee large-scale delivery operations, ensuring the highest standards of service quality and speed. Lead cross-functional teams to streamline delivery processes and improve client satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Negotiation: Engage with senior stakeholders within client organizations to gather intelligence, understand evolving needs, and drive business value. Leverage negotiation skills to secure favorable terms in client contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Client Location Operations: Operate from client locations as needed to proactively manage relationships, resolve issues, and capitalize on new opportunities.
- P&L Accountability and Collections Management: Oversee all aspects of financial performance, including invoicing accuracy, collections, and profitability analysis to mitigate financial risks.
- Business Growth & Competitive Edge: Enhance market share by developing competitive strategies that improve delivery speed, quality, and agility.
- Sales Leadership & Target Achievement: Drive business results by meeting or exceeding sales targets related to new client acquisitions, contract renewals, and Master Service Agreement (MSA) signings.
Qualifications
- Extensive expertise in IT staffing or Time and Materials (T&M) recruitment, with strong competence in Delivery, Account Management, P&L Management, and Business Operations.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale operations and leading strategic initiatives.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a solid understanding of financial performance metrics.
- Proficiency in developing and executing strategic business plans.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in multi-geographical operations.
- Knowledge of industry trends and client expectations to improve competitive strategies.
Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, particularly in IT staffing or T&M recruitment, emphasizing delivery, account management, and financial operations.
