Job Description

Role: Head Projects

Location: Hyderabad, India

Reporting Structure: This role would report to CEO

Team Structure: Direct reports for support functions in Projects & JV executions, PMC management & backend Operations.

Key Functions: Project Timelines & Cost Management, Capex & Opex Management & Control, PMC & Vendor Management, Execution within Timelines, Seamless Commissioning & Handover including Licenses, Approvals, BOQ Audit and Bills Closure

Total Team Size: Total [2-4] member team to support department functions stated above.

Key Deliverables:

  1. As a key member of the leadership team, Head Projects will be responsible for timely & consistent executions of the all project related workstreams in greenfield and brownfields centres.
  2. Direct all the activities of the projects related to schedule, productivity, cost, time, integration & handover with strategic business goals.
  3. Cross functional engagement with the key support functions (HR, Operations, Marketing, finance) to ensure timely operationalization of the centres
  4. Responsible for SMART planning, which is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic & Timely.
  5. Critical decision-making skills with quantifiable measurements that can be shared & analysed across the group projects.
  6. Manage & refine scope, schedule, risks, and budget. Works closely with central procurement team and regional PMC’s for execution, monitoring & delivery of the projects.
  7. Develop the regional projects teams, allocate central resources & expertise to execute projects as per business plan.
  8. Manage projects/PMC inventory, saves cost with new initiatives & plan and establish controls to ensure that projects are delivered with highest level efficiency across various verticals with minimal delay.
  9. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements in each region/city & ensure all licenses / approvals are obtained in timely manner.
  10. Should continuously look new strategies & project management tools & act as a sounding board & business growth partner to the CEO

 

 

 

Must Have Attributes:

  • Should have at-least 18-20 years of experience in projects & operations.
  • Business/Projects leader with a master’s degree with a strategic focus on the finish line, seeks buy in, knows the limits & inspire & demand high performance.
  • Track record in strategic delivery of multiple projects of different size & scale; Experience in delivering a fast growth multi-centre/ hospital/ clinic model with multiple project on-going simultaneously
  • knowledge of challenges in various stages of projects, risks for delays & mitigating strategy with processes & internal controls
  • High degree of passion and ownership with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Must have worked with cross functional teams & managed multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline and integrate business operations that drive growth and increase efficiency and bottom line profit
  • Adaptable and hands-on individual with proven ability to work in ambiguity
  • Experience of working in a professionally managed, KPI driven teams & roles
  • Ability to present project dashboard covering progress, budget vs cost, timeline will be a positive one
