Job Summary
We are looking for a Marketing Executive - Retention Marketing to help build a strong post-purchase journey and improve repeat rate, customer lifetime value (LTV), and loyalty through WhatsApp and Email marketing. This role involves collaboration with various teams to design, execute, and optimize retention strategies that foster customer engagement and loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Own the post-purchase journey by defining user segments and mapping personalized flows based on behavior and lifecycle stage.
- Plan and execute retention campaigns across WhatsApp and Email to drive repeat purchases, engagement, and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the copywriter to create engaging, on-brand messages for newsletters, emails, and WhatsApp campaigns.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, and retention KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to improve the post-purchase experience and effectively re-engage lapsed customers.
- Create customer segments based on purchase behavior, product category, lifecycle stage, repeat status, and engagement.
- Stay updated with retention, lifecycle, and email marketing trends, bringing fresh ideas to enhance customer engagement.
- Maintain a retention dashboard to track revenue from Email/WhatsApp, repeat purchase rate, LTV, campaign performance, and flow performance.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns align with business goals.
Qualifications
- Marketing Experience: 2+ years of hands-on marketing experience managing campaigns and analyzing post-purchase behavior.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Focus on improving customer experience, repeat purchase rates, and long-term loyalty.
- Analytical & Data-Driven: Experience in metrics analysis, campaign tracking, and optimization using data insights.
- Curiosity & Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to explore new ways to engage customers and stay current with marketing trends.
- Coachable & Receptive to Feedback: Ability to utilize feedback constructively for personal and professional growth.
- Ownership Mentality: Proactive in managing tasks and completing them efficiently without needing constant supervision.
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to delivering polished and error-free communications aligned with brand messaging.
- Empathy & Enthusiasm: Genuine care for customer experiences and a passion for making a significant impact in retention marketing.
- Educational Qualification: Degree in Marketing or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) experience is a significant plus.
- Prior experience in retention, email, or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) marketing is highly advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant marketing experience (agency or brand-side).
