Job Summary

The Junior Data Scientist will play a crucial role in building and deploying machine learning models, as well as developing APIs for those models. This position is vital in helping us make data-driven decisions that align with our organization's goals and enhance our product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy machine learning (ML) models to solve complex business problems.
• Develop and maintain APIs to facilitate the integration of ML models into the existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Conduct data analysis using Python and SQL to support model development and validation.
• Work with Snowflake DB to manage and extract insights from large datasets.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, SQL, and Snowflake DB; strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and frameworks.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in data science or related fields, preferably within the lending or fintech domains.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with consumer technology trends and best practices in the fintech industry.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.

Experience

1-3 years of relevant experience in data science, particularly in model deployment and API development within the lending or fintech sectors.

Environment

This position is based in Bangalore, requiring a standard 5-day workweek with opportunities for collaboration and professional growth in a dynamic office environment.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this role is ₹15-16 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum).
