Cluster Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Cluster Engineers to join our team in Chennai. This role is open to both interns and full-time applicants and is ideal for recent graduates or individuals starting their engineering careers. As a Cluster Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing computing clusters to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance. You will have the opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure projects, learn from experienced professionals, and grow within a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of cluster computing environments.
• Monitor cluster performance and troubleshoot hardware or software issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement system upgrades and security patches.
• Document system configurations, changes, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical support to users and resolve cluster-related queries.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or final year student) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• No prior experience required—freshers are welcome.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Understanding of cluster management tools or distributed computing concepts.
• Exposure to cloud platforms or virtualization technologies.
• Previous internship or project work related to system administration or networking.

Experience

• Minimum Experience: 0 years (Open to fresh graduates and interns).
• Relevant experience in cluster engineering, system administration, or related areas is a plus but not mandatory.
