Job Summary

The Head of Business Development will spearhead the business development initiatives for the architectural and real estate market. This role is crucial for building client relationships, expanding service offerings, and maximizing revenue while contributing significantly to the organization's growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business development initiatives and build lasting client relationships.
  • Focus on new business development and maximize revenue streams.
  • Maintain a strong networking base with Indian developers and engage with their top management.
  • Implement qualitative marketing strategies for architectural design services.
  • Undertake market penetration strategies including public relations activities to promote the Bentel brand in new cities.
  • Ensure client retention and build robust relationships.
  • Lead and develop the Business Development team, identifying skill gaps and developmental opportunities.
  • Resolve team performance issues while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Leverage current client base to expand services across other asset classes.
  • Oversee documentation and correspondence to ensure the timely closure of agreements.
  • Coordinate with the legal department for agreement finalization and with project heads for invoice management.

Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements:

    • Graduate + MBA
    • Bachelor of Architecture with an MBA from a reputed institute preferred.
    • Master’s degree in Construction or Project Management is desirable.
  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
    • Experience with CRM Software.
  • Experience:

    • 12 to 16 years in the architectural or real estate industry.
    • Minimum of 4 years experience in architecture or real estate service marketing.

Preferred Skills

  • Establish strong networks within the Indian real estate sector.
  • Demonstrated strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.

Experience

Candidates should have 12 to 16 years of relevant work experience with at least 4 years focused on architecture or real estate service marketing.

Environment

This role will require extensive travel across India on a monthly basis to oversee project processes and engage with clients. Flexibility regarding working hours is necessary to meet project timelines.
