Job Summary
The OTBI Analyst will play a crucial role in configuring the Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) application. This position involves system testing, supporting user acceptance testing, and documentation, as well as generating reports and providing post-implementation support. The Analyst will ensure the configured solution meets the organization's needs and works effectively within the Oracle Cloud ERP environment.
Responsibilities
- Configure and implement the Oracle OTBI module to meet organizational needs.
- Conduct system testing to validate the configured solution against defined requirements.
- Support data cleansing and conversion from Oracle iProcurement and/or Ariba for migration into Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Provide end-user training and support during the implementation phase.
- Generate reports and document processes and software features.
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve any identified issues during testing or post-implementation support.
Qualifications
- Education: A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with equivalent experience is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience is required; 8 to 9 years is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced skills in Oracle PL/SQL queries and scripting.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, including formulas and VBA or Office Script for macro creation.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Tableau, Snowflake, and Power BI is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of authoring detailed documentation.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
- Other: Knowledge of supplier qualification management processes and best practices is beneficial. Certification in Oracle Supplier Management or a related Oracle certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Basic to Intermediate software programming and/or scripting skills, including coding constructs and techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and systems analysis, design, and requirements management.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of work experience in roles related to OTBI and Oracle supply chain applications; experience in configuring and implementing Oracle OTBI report modules preferred.
