Job Summary

The Supply Planner is responsible for developing and executing both short-term and long-term supply plans that align with demand forecasts. This role is crucial in ensuring that inventory levels are managed effectively, thereby contributing to the overall operational efficiency of Hector Beverages and supporting its growth trajectory by maintaining high service levels and minimizing stock-outs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short-term and long-term supply plans aligned with demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure capacity alignment and material availability.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and minimize excess inventory.
• Track supplier lead times, production constraints, and capacity limitations to ensure smooth operations.
• Actively participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and cross-functional planning reviews.
• Identify potential supply risks and create proactive mitigation strategies.
• Analyze variances between planned versus actual supply, driving improvements and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate planning data and reports within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business.
• Certifications such as APICS (American Production and Inventory Management) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) are a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of ERP tools such as SAP, Oracle, APO, or Kinaxis.
• Solid understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills.
• High attention to detail with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in the Q commerce, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), manufacturing, retail, pharmaceutical, or e-commerce industries will be advantageous.

Experience

• 4–10 years of experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, or Inventory Planning.

Environment

This position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, at the Hector Beverages headquarters. The work setting typically involves collaboration with various internal teams, requiring both independent work and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Salary

Salary range for this position is between ₹20,00,000 to ₹28,00,000 per annum.
