Job Summary

The RFI Manager will act as the Bangalore-based lead for the fund’s global Request for Information (RFI) efforts. This role is crucial in overseeing the drafting, curating, and reviewing of responses across fundraising and non-fundraising RFIs. The RFI Manager will ensure quality and consistency in deliverables while engaging closely with various teams to align content and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End RFI Management: Draft, curate, and review responses for operational due diligence (ODD) questionnaires and other RFI materials across fundraising and non-fundraising initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of RFI populators in Bangalore, ensuring quality and accuracy in first-round content creation and stepping in for high-priority or complex RFIs.
  • Primary Interface with HQ: Coordinate with the central RFI team in Stockholm to align on content standards and project priorities, maintaining a continuous feedback loop to enhance output.
  • Around-the-Clock Support: Provide 24/6 coverage to ensure responsive support and quality assurance for ongoing RFI deliverables, regardless of timezone and absences.
  • System Mastery: Serve as a power user and content owner of EQT’s RFI platform (currently Loopio), driving best practices and leading team training for system usage.
  • Cross-Functional Engagement: Collaborate with central business teams, including Compliance, Legal, ESG, and Client Relations, to ensure RFI responses are technically accurate and aligned with internal messaging.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of experience in RFI management or related roles.
  • Skills:
    • Strong writing and editing capability.
    • Proficient in using RFI platforms, particularly Loopio.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong analytical skills for responding to ODD questionnaires.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the finance sector or private equity is a mandatory.
  • Familiarity with compliance, legal, or ESG requirements is preferred.

Experience

  • At least 5-6 years of relevant experience in RFI management for PE/VC funds, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the process and best practices.

Environment

  • Position is based in Bangalore, requiring collaboration with teams across different time zones.
