Job Summary

The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and building robust API-based solutions utilizing the Azure tech stack. This role includes technical leadership, team collaboration, and ensuring that high-quality software is delivered in a timely manner, meeting organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and build API-based solutions using Azure technologies.
• Lead a team of developers and Quality Assurance (QA) engineers, providing technical guidance.
• Plan and manage sprints, ensuring timely delivery of features while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain the integrity of the codebase.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners and Business Analysts, to translate requirements into technical tasks.
• Ensure secure coding practices and implement secure authentication methods.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with API-based solutions and Azure tech stack.
  • Proficient in .NET Core (C#) for backend development.
  • Familiarity with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure API Management.
  • Good understanding of Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and data integration techniques.
  • Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as React or Angular for full-stack collaboration.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes using Azure DevOps.

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in performance tuning, error handling, and monitoring using Application Insights.
• Knowledge of automation in testing and deployment processes.

Experience

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in software development and team leadership.

Environment

• The position is based in Kochi with a hybrid or remote working model.
