Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team. The role focuses on developing robust APIs and services while enhancing our cloud applications. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience in Python development to deliver high-quality solutions and effectively contribute to the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
• Build and implement RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Django.
• Conduct log analysis to debug and troubleshoot application issues.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance application performance and functionality.
• Write unit and functional tests using PyTest to ensure software quality.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or relevant work experience in open source web services development.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in API/RESTful services development using FastAPI or Django.
• At least 5+ years of experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Proven experience in web scraping using Selenium and BeautifulSoup.
• Strong skills in writing unit and functional tests using PyTest.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.

Preferred Skills

• Foundational knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud computing concepts.
• Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively within a team.
• A demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Experience

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Python development and API/RESTful services.

Environment

• This position is remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements.

Salary

• Estimated salary budget is 1.3 LPM.
