Intune Engineer

Job Summary

The Intune Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Intune solutions to ensure secure, effective, and efficient device management across the organization. This role requires expertise in PowerShell scripting, Autopilot systems, and Windows administration. The engineer will be engaged on a contractual basis and expected to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Intune environments for end-user devices.
• Automate device provisioning and management using Autopilot and PowerShell scripting.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Intune, Windows devices, and related infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation for Intune policies, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams to optimize device management and support projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or engineering.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune and device management.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration tasks.
• Experience with Autopilot deployment and configuration.
• Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and administration.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft certifications related to Intune or Modern Desktop Administration (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
• Experience integrating Intune with other Microsoft 365 services.
• Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).
• Familiarity with security and compliance features within Intune.
• Experience with large-scale device rollouts and migrations.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in system administration, device management, or a related field.
• Prior hands-on experience with Intune, PowerShell, and Autopilot systems.

Environment

• Contractual position.
• Immediate start date.
• Work location not specified; may be onsite, remote, or hybrid based on client needs.
• Standard business hours, with possible after-hours support during critical deployments or troubleshooting.
