Job Summary
The Sales & Operations - Housekeeping (Toilet Specialist) is responsible for end-to-end restroom maintenance management while driving business growth through new client onboarding and account management. This pivotal role involves recruiting, training, and supervising housekeeping (HK) staff, implementing standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for toilet maintenance, and ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The specialist will also focus on process improvements, introduce innovative cleaning methodologies, meet monthly sales and operational targets, and uphold client satisfaction through effective account management and reporting. Extensive travel (minimum 15 days per month) is required.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping staff with a focus on toilet/restroom maintenance.
- Manage client accounts, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds expectations, and maintain proactive client communication.
- Lead new client onboarding, including conducting sales presentations, needs assessments, and seamless account setup.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales and operational targets.
- Develop and implement planning schedules for cleaning activities and staff deployment.
- Create reporting formats and establish SOPs specifically for toilet maintenance.
- Monitor and evaluate cleaning performance, ensuring compliance with quality and hygiene standards.
- Continuously improve cleaning processes, introduce innovative techniques, and enhance overall cleaning standards.
- Maintain staff attendance records and allocate manpower efficiently.
- Train HK staff in professional grooming and etiquette.
- Communicate effectively with staff and clients in multiple languages.
- Travel to multiple locations/cities/highways as required (minimum 15 days/month).
Qualifications
- Graduate degree required; Postgraduate/MBA preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facility management or housekeeping, with specialization in toilet/restroom maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of advanced cleaning techniques and restroom maintenance standards.
- Proven experience in recruiting and training housekeeping staff.
- Proficiency in report writing, SOP creation, and operational planning.
- Demonstrated ability in sales, client onboarding, and account management.
- Strong cost analysis and operational efficiency skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to train and enforce grooming standards among staff.
- Multilingual communication abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of innovative cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Experience in adopting or developing new cleaning methodologies.
- Familiarity with digital attendance and manpower management systems.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Certification in facility management or housekeeping (preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facility management or housekeeping, with a focus on toilet/restroom maintenance and client onboarding/account management.
Environment
- Typical work setting involves facility premises such as offices, commercial buildings, and public venues.
