Job Summary

The Automation Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing automated solutions to improve software development processes. This role plays a critical part in enhancing the efficiency of testing and delivery cycles within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design automated testing frameworks and efficient scaling of automation solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Analyze existing testing processes to identify opportunities for automation.
• Lead the development of testing strategies and best practices for various applications.
• Mentor and guide junior automation engineers in the implementation and optimization of testing solutions.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
• Extensive experience with Selenium for browser automation.
• In-depth understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as Agile and DevOps.
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or automation (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Selenium Tester) are preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing solutions and platforms.
• Experience with performance testing tools.

Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and automation testing.

Environment

• This position is fully remote, providing flexibility in work location and schedule.

Salary

• The budget for this role is 1.3 L plus GST.
