Job Summary
The Head – Operations (Pan-India) is a strategic leadership role responsible for end-to-end service delivery and operational P&L across both soft and hard services for the CLR Group. This role involves setting the operating model, governance architecture, and capability agenda for the entire delivery organization, translating the Group’s growth ambitions into a technology-enabled, margin-focused delivery engine. The incumbent will oversee all regional operations, lead the growth of Kilowatt as a technical brand, and ensure high standards of quality, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency across the country.
Responsibilities
- Own the country-level P&L for soft and hard services, driving margin improvement through cost optimization, productivity enhancements, and pricing discipline.
- Design and implement the annual Margin Improvement Plan with quarterly tracking, focusing on cost control, billing integrity, and strategic resource allocation.
- Build and grow the Kilowatt brand, establishing it as a leader in technical, engineering, and ESG-led services, and integrating soft and technical services into a seamless offering.
- Define and oversee service delivery governance, including quality assurance frameworks, SLA management, and review mechanisms to ensure consistent outcomes across all sites.
- Drive client engagement through a structured Client Wiring Program, fostering relationships at multiple levels to enhance retention, renewals, and organic growth.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives by embedding technology platforms such as CAFM/CMMS and workforce management tools to optimize resource utilization and operational transparency.
- Build organizational capability by establishing training needs, designing development programs, and creating a high-performance culture with strong leadership succession.
- Lead organizational structure and governance, ensuring statutory and contractual compliance, and acting as the escalation point for operational issues.
- Set strategic direction for the entire operations team, including Regional Heads and Technical Services, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and performance standards.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Management, or Operations.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong P&L management and financial acumen.
- Expertise in Integrated Facility Management (soft & hard services).
- Experience with technical & engineering services, including M&E, asset management, and ESG/energy services.
- Proficiency in CAFM/CMMS, workforce management, and analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance related to labor laws, factory acts, and contract regulations.

Experience
- Minimum of 18+ years of total professional experience.
- At least 5+ years in a Pan-India operations leadership role within the IFM industry.
- Demonstrated experience in country-level P&L ownership, managing large-scale operations across multiple sites and sectors.
- Proven success in scaling technical & engineering services and managing a large, distributed workforce.
