Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will be responsible for shaping data architectures, guiding teams, and ensuring our solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices. You will work with Microsoft Azure and Fabric as the core technology stack, helping to integrate AI and advanced analytics capabilities to add business value.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various teams/regions to facilitate data design, identify architectural risks, and determine key areas of improvement in the data landscape.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into practical, data-driven solutions.
• Contribute to presales efforts, including preparing RFP responses, creating solution proposals, and supporting presentations.
• Participate in architecture and design workshops to demonstrate how Azure Data & AI capabilities can meet business needs, focusing on components such as AI-Machine Learning, AI-Machine Vision, Generative AI, and AI-Modeling expertise.
• Develop and test ETL components, ensuring high standards of data quality and performance as a hands-on development lead.
• Oversee and contribute to the creation and maintenance of relevant data artifacts (data lineages, source to target mappings, high-level designs, interface agreements, etc.) in compliance with enterprise-level architecture standards.

Qualifications

• Technical Experience: Knowledge in Cloud Data Warehousing, data migration, and data transformation.
• Familiarity: Databricks, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Master Data Management (MDM), Business Intelligence (BI), Dashboards, AI-Machine Learning (AI-ML), AI-Machine Vision (AI-MV), and Generative AI (Gen-AI).
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and delivering data-centric projects with a focus on Data Quality and adherence to data standards and best practices.
• Data Modelling Expertise: Experience in data modeling, metadata support, development, and testing for enterprise-wide data solutions.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques and tools that leverage AI capabilities.
• Experience in cloud-native data solutions and industry data landscapes.

Experience

• Previous experience in technical leadership or architecture roles related to data solutions is preferred but not specified.
