Performance Tester (AWS)

Job Summary

As an SRE Performance Tester, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the performance, scalability, and reliability of applications hosted on AWS. You will design and execute performance tests across AWS infrastructure—specifically focusing on EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and Lambda functions. Your insights will help optimize systems and deliver exceptional performance to users.

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop Performance Test Plans: Create comprehensive test strategies for applications running on AWS.
• Execute Tests and Analyze Results: Perform performance tests to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with developers to understand application architecture and gather requirements for testing.
• Monitor Application Performance: Oversee real-time performance monitoring and provide actionable insights.
• Automate Testing Processes: Develop and integrate automated performance testing scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document Findings: Record testing methodologies, results, and recommendations clearly for stakeholders.
• Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest trends and best practices in performance testing and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Performance Tester with a focus on AWS services.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, EC2, and RDS.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is considered a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in performance testing and optimizing cloud-based applications.
• Immediate joiners to 10 days notice period.
