Job Summary
The Senior Executive in International Business will be instrumental in converting Aravis's established foundation into new business opportunities. This role involves extensive fieldwork, requiring regular engagement with distributors and participation in trade events to build and nurture relationships that facilitate product movement.
Responsibilities

Market Development & Distributor Acquisition
- Research and map the pharmaceutical distributor and importer landscape across assigned markets.
- Initiate and manage outreach to prospective distributors through both cold approaches and referrals.
- Conduct structured qualifications of distributor prospects to assess market reach and compliance history.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, and execute distribution agreements in coordination with legal and finance teams.
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospects segmented by stage, probability, and timeline to first order.

Client & Relationship Management
- Own the relationship lifecycle with assigned distributors from initial contact to repeat business.
- Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to evaluate performance and identify product expansion opportunities.
- Serve as the primary contact for distributors, coordinating internal pricing and product availability information.
- Represent Aravis at international trade fairs and exhibitions, generating qualified business contacts.

Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitive activity, pricing movements, and market developments within assigned regions.
- Monitor regulatory changes that may impact product registrations and commercial pipeline.
- Prepare structured monthly reports on pipeline status and market developments for senior management.
- Recommend new products from the portfolio that align with market demand and trends.

Regulatory & Documentation Coordination
- Collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs team to ensure product submissions align with market demand.
- Brief the Regulatory team on specific buyer requirements and track registration statuses.
- Coordinate with the Export and Documentation team for smooth order execution from invoice to payment collection.
Qualifications

Required
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical exports or international business development, preferably with generic formulations.
- Proven ability to identify and close distributor or importer relationships in emerging markets.
- Strong understanding of the generic pharmaceutical export cycle, from product registration to payment.
- Ability to independently manage a commercial pipeline and report on progress.
- Proficient in written and spoken English; knowledge of Spanish is an advantage for LATAM markets.
- Willingness to travel 30–40% of the time internationally, including to emerging markets.

Environment
This position is primarily field-based, requiring significant travel to meet distributors, attend trade events, and engage in market activities, predominantly based in New Delhi.
