Job Summary

The Finance Solutions Architect is responsible for the design, integrity, and quality of the Data and Analytics (D&A) solutions within the Finance Services business. This role focuses on developing solutions on the Finance Snowflake platform to support business requirements, ensuring functionality meets expectations while optimizing costs. The position includes collaboration with project teams to enhance service operations and improve overall efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Planning Model Development: Develop and maintain SAC Planning models and stories to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Ensure solutions are scalable and meet business requirements.
• Requirements Gathering & Implementation: Collaborate with Finance teams (FP&A, Controlling, Accounting) to collect planning requirements and implement them through SAC Planning applications.
• Data Integration & Validation: Support data integration between SAC Planning and SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and external systems. Validate data quality and accuracy through comprehensive reconciliation processes.
• User Support & Training Assistance: Provide first-level support to end-users on SAC Planning functionalities. Prepare training materials and conduct sessions on the effective use of planning tools.
• Testing & Validation: Engage in testing activities for new developments and enhancements. Support validation processes to guarantee accurate and reliable planning results.
• Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Maintain up-to-date documentation of SAC Planning models, calculation logics, and process flows while identifying improvement opportunities for solution enhancements.
• Collaboration: Work under the guidance of solution architects to enhance technical capabilities and ensure alignment of planning solutions with enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning or equivalent SAP modules are preferred.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in financial planning and performance management, with hands-on experience in SAC Planning.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in developing SAC Planning models, stories, and input forms, including advanced formulas and allocation processes. Familiarity with integration to SAP BW/4HANA and S/4HANA.
• Knowledge: Understanding of financial planning processes, key performance indicators, and business reporting requirements.
• Soft Skills: Effective communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. A proactive, learning-oriented attitude with the ability to work under guidance in a dynamic team environment.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Additional Experience: Experience in supporting large-scale finance transformation projects is a plus.

• Advanced knowledge of financial analytic tools and methodologies.
• Experience in utilizing data visualization tools for reporting purposes.
