Job Summary
The Senior Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making within the organization. This position involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights that support business strategies. The Senior Data Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify trends, develop reports, and optimize processes, ensuring the organization harnesses data effectively to achieve its goals.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced SQL queries and database solutions for data extraction and management.
- Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders and leadership.
- Work closely with business units to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all analytics processes.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of best practices within the analytics team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Strong expertise in statistical analysis and data modeling.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Industry certifications in analytics or database management (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a data analyst or related data-centric role.
- Experience in handling large and complex datasets.
- Demonstrated success in delivering actionable business insights.

Salary
Estimated salary range: ₹15,00,000 – ₹22,00,000 per annum.
