Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow professional with a strong background in Information Technology to leverage ServiceNow components and integrate solutions across various environments. This role involves working within project and program management, systems design and delivery, quality assurance, production support, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow technical components while ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices and integrating with third-party tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and Develop ServiceNow Components: Create and deploy business rules, client scripts, UI policies and actions, UI pages and macros, script includes, catalog items, workflows, web services, and reports.
- Manage IT Service Processes: Work with Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Discovery, Knowledge Management, and CMDB.
- Integration Management: Implement integrations to third-party tools utilizing REST APIs and out-of-the-box (OOB) ServiceNow connectors.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Engage with project and program management to align systems design and delivery with strategic objectives.
- Quality Assurance and Production Support: Participate in testing, production support efforts, and infrastructure services to ensure a stable and efficient ServiceNow environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of broad Information Technology experience, including project and program management, systems design and delivery, quality assurance, production support, and infrastructure.
- Certifications:
- ServiceNow CIS IT Service Management (ITSM) Certified.
- ServiceNow Admin Certified.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with ServiceNow components (Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, PPM, Discovery, Knowledge, CMDB).
- Experience in designing and developing ServiceNow technical components.
- Integration with third-party tools using REST API and OOB ServiceNow connectors.
- ITIL Framework: Thorough understanding and practical experience with the ServiceNow ITIL framework.
- Cloud Environments: Experience in AWS and Azure; AWS and Azure certifications preferred.
- Educational Background: Relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Additional certifications in AWS and Azure.
- Proven ability to work in dynamic, cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience
- A minimum of 8+ years’ experience in Information Technology, with demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow platform implementation, support, and integrations within cloud and on-premise environments.
