Job Summary

The Product Manager will act as the ambassador of customers, addressing their needs and solving problems by collaborating with engineering and business teams. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to address customer needs and resolve issues.

  • Envision and manage products from inception to launch and iteration, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Own one or multiple products across web and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Preferably an MBA from a Tier 1 institution (e.g., ISB, IIM-A, B, C) or a reputed international university.
    • Mandatorily a B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from IIT, NIT, BITS, or other Tier 1 colleges.
  • Experience:
    • At least 2 years of product management experience in consumer internet products.
    • Demonstrated experience in launching consumer internet products and managing the entire product lifecycle: concept, prototype, launch, and iteration.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience in building products powered by big data and algorithms.
    • Strong capability in data-driven product management and decision-making.
    • Hands-on experience in data mining and clickstream analysis, with knowledge of statistical techniques.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Impeccable communication skills, both spoken and written.
    • Ability to interface with management and business leaders effectively.
    • Strong sense of business and retail understanding, with an advantage in FMCG retail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in interfacing with founders, driving vision and strategy.
  • Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams and debate on algorithms with data scientists.
  • Demonstrated courage of conviction, humility, and empathy in approach.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in product management, particularly in consumer internet products.
